The Corps of Engineers, Ouachita Green, Keep Ouachita Parish Beautiful, Keep West Monroe Beautiful and Keep Monroe Beautiful are hosting the 12th Annual Water Sweep. This year’s event will be held on Saturday September 9, 2017 from 9 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Each year event volunteers pick up several tons of debris and litter and this year should be no different. The event’s success is noted by the increase of volunteer participation.

For the event to be successful we need your help with sponsorship. Individuals and companies can help by:

1. Giving Monetary Donations
2. Giving Product Donations
3. Participation in the Event (Before, During & After)

Monetary Donations will be used to purchase clean-up supplies, advertising for the event and tee-shirts for the participants.

The event will be staged at the boat dock areas of: Lazarre Point, Forsythe Park, Moon Lake Recreation Area, Bawcomville Recreation Area, Black Bayou Lake NWR, Darbonne NWR, ULM/Bayou Desiard and Sterlington Recreation Areas. At each staging point there will be door prizes and t-shirts.
